Fall Festival Update   By Sandra August 26, 2009   The Caring And Sharing For Kids Festival was a great success over the weekend. it was twice as large as last year and we want to thank all the business that supported us with funding and Chinese Auction gifts. Wal Mart DC for the items they gave and also donating their time to help work the festival. Thanks to all the vendors that set up, the great bands that donated their time and talents,Stiches The Clown and all the volunteers that worked the festival. It was the efforts of everyone together that made it a real success. Sunday afternoon balloons were releaseed by the Phillips family and all the board members and volunteers in memory of Samantha Phillips who went to be with the Lord this yearat the age of 15. We miss you and loved you Samantha. Froggy 98 started off Saturday with a 2 hour broadcast Froggy and Stitches The Clown   Gifts By Lori as a Honey Bee with her Mom Sue helping here Samanta milking the cow   The kids loved the bouncing house donated by Dr. Rice Stiches The Clown was a BIG hit with the kids   Volunteer Paul Long sold the winning ticket for the 42" HD TV donated by Wal Mart DC won by Becky Horchen Of DuBois One Lane Bridge performing Friday night. Paulette and CW Shaw.   Spruce Creek Country Band Saturday afternoon (Cathy & Chuck DeLong. Ray Lantz and Jim Bloom Jerry Schickling from Clearfield gave a fantastic performance Saturday night   Jerry Schickling and the Band Members Stiches The Clown won the guitar autographed by the Jerry Schickling Band. ( Stiches bought his ticket right before me DARN IT)   Jim Knepp and Friends sang great southern gospel music on Sunday afternoon. The Calvary Boys ended the festival Sunday with an hour of southern gospel music   Elaini Arthur on stage Paulette from One Lane Bridge singing to Salina
